2 small paintings from last summer.
Here are 2 small paintings,...2 x 2 feet. I consider them transition paintings for me. They were completed sometime last summer. The color is a bit off for both of them and I think one might be a bit grainy in the image. Was still working out how to get a good digital image with a shitty $100 camera. On a positive note, I'm starting Grad school in the fall, University of Guelph, and won't be spending mega bucks on tuition which is great. I will also be reuniting with an old studio partner who is accepted for the fall as well. Exciting.

top reminds me of kippenberger + jim shaw, bottom a lil of condo but not in a bad way. i still cant make out a legible direction to these. the bottom one i like less but find more interesting, it suggests a whole slew of different perceptions on the practice of seeing.
Hi, thanks for commenting,..was definately condo influenced..they were done for fun and rather quickly as a way to break out of my mental mold..They were done previous to the one 3 posts below. I take it your not a big fan of condo? I think there are some great qualities about his work and the way he thinks about painting.
As for my direction, that is coming,..heading to school in fall so it kindof has to,..look forward to your reaction in the future.
